UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS HONEY BEE RESEARCH FACILITY

As we hope you can tell, we NEED to save the bees...and fast! If we don’t act soon our food supply and environment as we know it will drastically change. In the United States, it is estimated that the value of honeybees to agriculture is over $15 billion annually! The current situation is unsustainable and we need to do everything in our power to make a difference. That is why we have chosen to support the University of California, Davis Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility.

The UC Davis facility is one of the leading bee research facilities in North America. With wide ranging projects examining everything from bee biology to the effects of different pesticides, we are proud to support the hard working researchers whose findings will help inform the bee industry and save our bees!

Your donation will provide funding for the important work of the dedicated researchers at UC Davis. Some recent research projects include studies relating to pesticides, mites and bee resistance mechanisms. For more information on the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility click here.
